Finding Hope for Survivors
We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in North Carolina, dedicated to supporting survivors of devastating injuries. Our team is entirely comprised of volunteers, ensuring that every effort and resource goes directly towards our mission.
Our board includes a diverse group of individuals such as survivors, caregivers, family members of survivors, medical professionals, and other passionate advocates. Together, we strive to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by these injuries.
Our Story
Headquartered in Jacksonville, NC, our organization extends its support to survivors worldwide. Founded by Steve Marshburn, a North Carolina resident and lightning survivor of 35 years, we have been dedicated to helping survivors for over 33 years.
Our mission is to assist injured survivors, their caregivers, and family members in navigating the challenges associated with electrical and lightning injuries. We strive to provide the necessary resources and support to help them manage the aftermath of these devastating events.
